In this pivotal operational role, you will lead and manage delivery teams to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and professionally. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high service quality, addressing client needs and ad-hoc requests, whilst driving performance excellence. ​ As the first point of contact for escalations and service requests, you will forge strong relationships with clients and internal teams while actively contributing to the Company’s success. Your focus is to ensure client satisfaction, rectifying any reliability issues, tracking service metrics, adhering to budgets, and supporting delivery teams with service completion in a safe and professional manner, in accordance with client specifications and OUTCO policies and procedures. ​ This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. ​ Key Responsibilities​ Manage and oversee the effective delivery of OUTCO contracts, ensuring compliance with client specifications and company policies. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and suppliers to meet business requirements/objectives.​Participate in securing and maintaining the long-term future of contracts. ​Proactively identify opportunities for additional revenue and support the tendering and pricing process.Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to and implemented at the point of delivery, conducting risk assessments, monitoring the implementation of control measures, and actively participating in the maintenance, improvement and promotion of the overall Company health and safety culture. ​Report all accidents, near misses, and any health, safety and environmental concerns raised.     SHEQ ADVISOR – NORTH ENGLAND & SCOTLAND ​ You will provide support to the SHEQ department and OUTCO Operational Teams, ensuring legislative requirements are understood and met while driving continuous improvement in practice and culture. This includes providing advice, facilitating workshops, communicating with operational teams, developing policies and standards, and engaging with operational delivery teams, contractors, and clients. ​ THE ROLE ​ Advise on legislative changes affecting business practice. Ensure strategic aims are understood and met by operations. Lead incident investigations for causation analysis. Facilitate SHEQ workshops to enhance workforce capability. Develop SHEQ communications, including safety alerts and lessons learned. Assist leadership in workforce engagement on SHEQ-related matters. Review standards, procedures, and guidance to ensure suitability and value to operations and the organisation. Assist in the development of the Integrated Management System, including drafting documents. Prepare for and facilitate third-party audits. Maintain third-party certifications and accreditations. Conduct site inspections, including supply chain assessments. Perform internal strategic audits. Support external supply chain audits and Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) processes. Prepare a monthly report of activities undertaken and present findings to the SHEQ Manager. Travel and work as required within the specified region. Ensure all company systems are used effectively and appropriately. ​ ABOUT YOU ​ Previous knowledge within the Facilities Management or Property Management sector is highly advantageous. Adaptable and flexible to meet business needs. NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 3+ years of SHEQ skills and knowledge. Auditing skills and familiarity with ISO management systems. Strong ability to develop relationships and influence change within operational management. Full UK Driving Licence (or a valid UK Licence). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure efficient and timely support. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Chartered membership of IOSH or similar professional qualifications is desirable. Working knowledge with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
